Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of the Twevle Apostles passed away yesterday. I don’t even know what to say. We will miss him dearly for all that he has done.
I believe that he was an Apostle of Jesus Christ, called by Jesus Christ. I have recieved a personal witness of all the Apostles and the First Presidency, and know that they are Prophets of God, Seers, and Revelators. I believe that a new Apostle will be called to fill the vacancy in the Quorum by no other than Jesus Christ, following the tradition originating with Jesus Christ himself.
So to the memory of Neal A. Maxwell, a Special Witness of Christ, I add my own witness that Jesus is the Christ, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His living Church.

That’s so sad. When I told my Mom she was shocked. Elder Maxwell was a brilliant man. He gave the most moving talks etc. Anyway, thankyou for baring your testimony, it was beautiful. Hope you have a good week. Do you know when funeral services are going to be held? (You probably don’t, just thought I’d ask.)

Elder Maxwell had been diagnosed with cancer in 1996. His life, lived with dignity, demonstrates what it means to endure to the end with faith in Christ.
I know that he is an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. And he has taken Elder Maxwell unto his own to further the work beyond the veil.
