  • I am having a hard time being patient. I was going to wait until Aug. 1 to start up the new skin, but I am anxious for feedback on it and I want to show off all the stuff I’ve put together, so be prepared for a major site revamp tonight.

P.S. All are invited to my house at any time between 7 and 10 pm on August 6th for a departure party. E-mail me for directions. Also, all are invited to hear my departure speech on August 14, 2005 at 9:00 am at the Buffalo Grove Stake Center on the intersection of Prairie Rd, Port Clinton Rd, and Buffalo Grove Rd. I am speaking during the 70 min. Sacrament Meeting. (click here to find out what to expect)

I will actually be serving closer to the Los Angeles Temple, however. FYI: Temples are different from regular Churches (Ward Buildings and Stake Centers), of which there are many. There are relatively few Temples (the LDS equivalent to a Cathedral) which are reserved for sacred occasions like Weddings and are not used for weekly services.

  • my sunday school teacher got married at the LA temple hehe

sorry random tibit that doesn’t matter.

good luck and have fun on your mission!

  • Got it man, I was just wonderin’.

and on the topic of LDS, are you familiar with Warren Jeffs and the 20/20 interview?
(and I’m nto accusing you of anything my man)

  • I’m somewhat familiar with Jeff Warrens, but not with the 20/20 interview. To quote myself, “Jeff Warrens and his associates are monsters” (May 19, 2005 xanga post). Jeff Warrens is in absolutely no way associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is neither Mormon nor LDS, nor was he ever.
(don’t worry, I’m not very defensive- I try not to see accusations where there aren’t any)

  • No man, not jeff warren, well according to this: and sevral other google searches, jeff’s ain’t too cool with some people. And he’s a major player or soemthing: http://www.rickross.com/reference/polygamy/polygamy186.html

(that’s not a credible source, IM just too lazy to reasearch it)

  • Wow, shows you how much I know. I was talking about the same guy. I was thinking his name was Jeff Warrens- apparently I was wrong and it is Warren Jeffs. Either way, it’s the same deal. He isn’t nor was he ever Mormon/LDS. He is the leader of a very secretive group of people with a lot of problems. It is not PC to call this group Mormon. Personally, I don’t even think it’s fair to call this guy a major player in any thing. He has relatively small influence on the world at large.
