So who wants to go see Mr. and Mrs. Smith with me? Anyone?

P.S. The Penroses are moving to Provo. Why does everyone have to move away from here?

  • Hi! I'm Erin..

yeah, that's an interesting xanga site you have going. I like talking to people about religion and listening to their ideas. :)

I've started reading the Book of Mormon (cause I'm taking a class on it at BYU starting in a week and I'm just a little behind!) and it seems different to me than the Bible. Whether that's just because it's not what I've grown up with, I don't know. I've also never owned a copy of the King James Version of the Bible that Mormons use. I'm pretty happy with my New International Version... it's more modern, and less boring. Some of them have actually been translated directly from Hebrew or Aramaic to English to clear up some of the stuff that was lost or poorly worded through all of the translating the Bible's gone through. Maybe part of the reason that the Book of Mormon isn't all that exciting to me is because of the older language.

In any case... BYU should be exciting! :) I'm really hoping I'll like it! As for the climate, I hear it's "a dry heat" and if that's true I will be so happy!! New England gets so humid in the summer!

    night night!

ps- watching Full House re-runs is certainly nostalgic and enjoyable, but it just isn't the same. :( It was so much better as a kid!
