If you haven't noticed, I am in a mood for change . . . a big change, something outrageous. Seriously, I have a compulsive need to do something drastic. Like now. But I can't decide what. Thus far my appetite for change has not been completely met, even after getting glasses and xanga premium . . . so don't be too surprised if I frost the tips of my hair, or buzz all my hair off, or . . . or . . . something big.

Feel free to send encouragement, ideas, warnings, flaming messages telling me not to dare touch my hair or anything else for that matter . . .

So . . . two weeks ago I got new glasses. Do you like them, or should I go back to contacts? I like them, but I'm not sure.

P.S. "Hi DBE_BG1! It's been 679 (wow, that's a big number) days since you joined Xanga... won't you support us by going Premium?" I am considering a 6 month subscribtion (just long enough to take me a month into my mission) . . . benefits include:
1. more than 10 people on my protected entry list.
2. I'd get to have 100 options for my profile picture, which would allow me to have different expressions for each entry.
3. I'd get to be more creative with the look and feel of the xanga site- I could use a skin to change it completely.

P.S. I'm homesick.

Take time to thank God today. Take time to rejoice in his miracles and in his plan. Something happened today in Iowa (I will explain in a protected entry) that is really wonderful. And the timing could not have been better. And it is so obviously guided by the Lord's hand. The Lord is soooo active in life. At times it may seem like He doesn't, can't, or won't be involved in whatever it is that afflicts us, but I testify that the God of Heaven is not asleep, and that He is involved despite our own follies and all the wrong that man does. ::spins around in chair waving finger in the air while shouting yippee::

What a week. Basically I've been running around nonstop until 4 today when I crashed on my bed and slept until 6. Tonight I played battle of the sexes with Landon and now I'm hanging out. Yeah this doesn't count as a post. I promise I will turn this into a real post later.
