  • So . . . two weeks ago I got new glasses. Do you like them, or should I go back to contacts? I like them, but I'm not sure.



    P.S. "Hi DBE_BG1! It's been 679 (wow, that's a big number) days since you joined Xanga... won't you support us by going Premium?" I am considering a 6 month subscribtion (just long enough to take me a month into my mission) . . . benefits include:
    1. more than 10 people on my protected entry list.
    2. I'd get to have 100 options for my profile picture, which would allow me to have different expressions for each entry.
    3. I'd get to be more creative with the look and feel of the xanga site- I could use a skin to change it completely.

    Is it worth $15? Help me out here.

  • I dig the new glasses, Dan.  They look really nice on you - good choice.  As for xanga Premium, if you really think it will help you be more expressive, then go for it. If not, 15 bucks could get you tons of orange juice...

  • 3 gallons of orange juice . . . hmmm. I could go on an orange juice fast for 6 days and have covered xanga premium for 6 months. The question is, can I do it? ::begins thinking deeply while getting into the shower::

    I'd vote yes on Premium. I love it. Had it for about six months now...but I mainly just use it cause it makes pics so easy to put up.

  • Xanga premium is awesome, I promise you'll enjoy it.  I've had it since last April and haven't regretted that at all - just give it a try, it can't hurt. 
    The glasses look nice.  You're one of those people who can get away with wearing glasses!  I'm jealous.  I look really bad with glasses on...

  • i like the new layout! and your new glasses! you remind me of peter from spiderman with them on! and thats a good thing. you should keep them, but mix it up everyday...glasses one week, contacts the next...just an idea.

  • Since you're going on a mission so soon and everything I thought, "What would look better on a missionary?" and I like the glasses a lot ... but I would definitely keep the contacts because, sometimes, glasses are just a pain. I switch back and forth all the time ... and Premium makes it *so* easy to post pictures, so that's why I like it so much. Good luck with all that!
