  • Jonathan is here safely and all is well.

I am tired, and meant to go to sleep long ago but ended up watching Runaway Bride with my sister.

I just realized it is tomorrow. Good night.

  • man that was an easy grab. your cult could now easily brainwash him at such a young age. very genius, yet very deceptive. Christ hates deception.

  • I considered deleting that comment, but I think it reveals way more about you than it does about me or my Church. Thou Child of Hell.

First of all, adopting Jonathan is a family issue that has nothing to do with Church. Would you be happier if he stayed in a home where he is abused? Whould you like that just so that he wouldn't have to grow up a Latter-day Saint? How is it deceptive to take a kid out of a terribe violent envioronment and put him with a family who loves him and who worships Jesus Christ.

Second of all, it was not easy at all. We spent two years in court, and it was extremely difficult on a very personal level. Jonathan is not just some random kid we wanted to adopt. He is my moms cousin. Her aunt died in a car accident leaving him behind.

You have no idea how furious I am right now. I can not belive you disrespected my new little brother. I really, really want to say a whole bunch of harsh things, but instead I will just quote the Book of Mormon,

"Oh thou child of hell, why tempt ye me? Knowest thou that the righteous yield to no such temptation?" (Alma 11:23)

  • I find it harder every day to believe there are people like you in this world. Where do you come off commenting on Dan's site like this, with absolutally NO knowledge of what has gone on with this fight? You know, what, that he has a new brother? Is that all? You know nothing of any circumstances surrounding him, or Dan's family for that matter. I'm assuming you're a Christian, talking about Christ not liking deception, but do you think that gives you a right to bash other sects of Christianity? Each sect has its problems, and each one has attributes other Christians don't like, but where do you come off labling one a "cult"?

Since when are you the judge of someone's religion and actions? Here I thought only Christ could do that.

  • You got me interested in Mormonism and so I went to http://www.mormon.org. It hardly seems like a cult to me.

And all things aside, I don't care what religion your parents teach you, I'm happy for your new brother.

  • let's see here. i didn't slam your brother. no personal slam was even aimed at your brother. read the post again, you will see that. that would be unloving of me, which Christ hates. the only inaccurate thing i said in the first post was "that was an easy grab," obviously it was very hard, and it was very loving of you guys, i believe that w/ all my heart. i was purposely slamming your religion which has so many flaws and secrets that they're not even worth mentioning (for one of them, go to "kimmielovesjorge" xanga site, nice). this cult of yours (which you may or may not know half the stuff that goes on yet) is destructive and brainwashing. you get little kids to say you're saved by faith, but when they're teenagers, it starts turning into faith AND works. very deceptive. i am not a hypocrite, as you know very well. lastly, don't quote those false words from the book of mormon. you can't even establish that it's true, so why quote it to a Christian?

  • you may delete the first comment i wrote, it was very pessimistic and an angry thing for me to do.
