  • Quote for the day:

Under the heading of "A brief History of the Terms for Jew" in the 1980 Jewish Almanac is the following: "Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an Ancient Israelite a 'Jew' or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew."

believe it or not, that actually is a very important piece of imformation.

Anyway. Today . . . I went and took care of some eagle paperwork this morning. Then I went out to breakfast with Weggs and a few of his closest friends. Today's his last day. Walker Brother's wasn't the perfect event, but that doesn't really matter at all. I then went to Jeff's house with Dana and John for a little bit. *sigh* I'm going to miss that place. My memories of that house go way back.

I left when Megan called. I finished up a chore or two and then was off to work. The pool was- interesting today. (I know!!!) There were people I knew there! (how wierd). For the most part it wasn't that bad. I didn't get terribley bored! yAy! Alright. I'm done.

*sigh* I'm going to miss Jeff. I just can't afford to fall apart now . . .

  • I need everyone desperately to pray for rain. I have to work a 12 hour shift tomorrow. There's no way I can survive it all. I will turn into a slug, or at the very least, become schizophrenic (sp)-- So please, go out tomorrow and do a rain dance or something. Or come and visit me at odd hours (even though it's not allowed-- call first please).

  • Tonight is definately an Iris night. With a little Bent, and maybe some I'd do anything. *sigh*

    Memory for the day:
Youth Conference 2001-- Andy, Seth, and I at Brother MacFarland's playing video games all night and eating pizza. Good Times.

  • Today had a lot of potential to be bad, but it didn't. Go figure. It must just be because I'm pretending physics doesn't exist. But seriously, I'm pretty cheerful and bouncy trying to update all my stuff online with Third Eye Blind's latest hit cycling in the background. Good song. Anyway.

I didn't have to work today! yAy! And I had to drop off James at a party, only I was bored so I got some gas and then dragged Andy back from the dead. Hung out with him the rest of the day- it was fun. Not because we did anything that special, but because school is over and . . . I dunno. A certain gadget certainly helped, but I guess it was just the freedom of being able to spend time with friends without impending work. *sigh*

Practice for Youth Conference was, um. It was a dress rehersal, and it was. It just was. That's going to be an interesting performance. But it's fun~

    And that- that's today. Goodnight.

  • This job is going to drive me to an early grave.

It is soooooo boring! No one ever comes to the pool. And it is so cold! Grrr. But what can you do.

Today, I worked at the pool for 4 hours. Finally it got way too cold, so I called my supervisor. Yeah, she told me that the pool was closed all day. She forgot to call me, but it shouldn't have been opened in the first place. GRRRRRRRRR I was bored out of my mind just studying for physics in a blanket listening to the Ataris over and over. I'm going to fail that final tomorrow. I can't take it anymore. At least I found out that a friend works at the Cravings across the street from my pool. Now I can get snacks and company when I get the break! *sigh* I miss coworkers. You know what? I don't care what they say. If it's cold and rainy and there's no one in the pool, I'm calling someone and making them visit me. End of story.

    Ok. I'm done.
